My Biography

I was raised in Staffordshire and Shropshire in the UK, and at 18 years old, I moved to London.

As a child, I was artistic, pensive and innovative. I told my father that I wanted to become an Inventor. He replied that there was not much left to invent. As you can imagine, one of the achievements that I am now most proud of is holding 4 patents. Although I worked with Technology throughout my career, I am not an engineer.

Economics and commerce were my majors. I studied at the London School of Economics gaining a BSc. Econ degree. After Univesity, I bought a one way ticket to Japan. I worked for IBM for 6 months, and then in a Consultancy in Sydney, Australia for almost one year. There was also some extensive backpacking in 3 continents. I returned to the UK to start a "proper" career. I had been away from home (alone) for nearly 2 years, all this in a time when there was no communication with internet or mobile phones.

In London, during the golden 1980's, I spent 4 years at NatWest Investment bank, and then completed an MBA at Cranfield University in the UK in the early 1990's. I moved to Sweden in 1993 where I got married, and I worked in the Telecoms industry with the early boom in GSM & Mobile phones, leading me to become an entrepreneur in the DotCom excitement in Stockholm.

In 2004, I moved to Germany to take up a Product Manager role at Vodafone. This lead to launching new handsets, working in procurement, and in IoT and M2M as Global Partner Management. Leaving Vodafone in 2014, I started to work in Sales and I joined PTC Inc selling complex software solutions for IoT.

I spent nearly 7 years at Inpixon GmbH, a subsidiary of XTI Aerospace. I became Head of Sales, selling both electronics, chips, software & solutions. I covered industries such as Automotive, Mining, Agriculture, Healthcare and Defence. Based in Düsseldorf and Berlin, I travelled globally & within Germany.

During my career, I have worked in both start-ups and global corporates, personally closed sales worth several Million Euro, lead sales teams, launched new products, and driven M & A deals. I sat on my first Company Board aged 18, I have been Company Secretary of a UK Ltd, and most recently on the Management Committee of the revenue generating division of a Nasdaq listed company.

I have lived in 6 countries (UK, Australia, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden and Japan). I speak French, German and Swedish, although I prefer to work and coach in English. I am married and I have 3 children, with 1 girl and 2 boys.

My hobbies are Yoga, Meditation, Buddhism, Travel , Watches, keeping fit (Running, cycling, Swimming, Gym), Music, Literature, Film, international History, and Geo-politics.
